BETTER READER

Better Reader is a 12-level series that uses the phonics method to develop fluent English readers. It teaches all 44 English sounds using multi-skill activities, decodable sentences, memorable stories, and fascinating articles to build confidence and connect new sounds to meaningful content. It also cultivates strong English reading comprehension skills.

The first seven books of the series teach blending, encoding, and decoding, which help students build a thorough understanding of spelling rules and patterns and cultivate native-like pronunciation, stress, and intonation. Books 8 to 12 of the series build reading comprehension and critical thinking skills through stories, passages, and activities on topics such as STEAM, critical thinking, technology, music, and emotional intelligence.
